Lieder ohne Grenzen – Die verbindende Kraft der Musik

Songs Beyond Borders – The Uniting Power of Music

“Songs Beyond Borders – The Uniting Power of Music” is an international music project developed by the German pianist Beate Ramisch and the Turkish composer and performer Hasan Yükselir. The project aims to strengthen cultural dialogue, mutual understanding, and artistic exchange between the musical traditions of East and West through concerts held in Germany, European countries, and Turkey.

“The soul and spirit of a people live in their language and their music. The language of music knows no barriers; whoever listens with an open heart understands what is conveyed and steps into the world of the singer.” — Hasan Yükselir

Songs Beyond Borders brings together the emotional depth, joy, sorrow, and hope that resonate within the music of different peoples. Through melodies sung in various languages, it brings human hearts closer to one another. The project reveals the shared roots and emotional kinship between European and Anatolian music, while honoring the unique aesthetic identity of each nation. Concerts performed with artists from different countries become encounters that transcend boundaries through the universal language of music. Both internationally renowned artists and young talents come together on the same stage — in the name of peace, friendship, and art.Songs Beyond Borders views music as a language of peace, a bridge that unites cultures — for music is the universal voice that resonates within the heart of humanity.
